Terms & Conditions

All hires are subject to our Terms & Conditions and by placing an order with us either verbally or via e-mail it is deemed that the customer has read, understood and fully agreed to our Terms & Conditions, whether a contract has been signed or not


  1. The “Client” means the person(s), company or organisation responsible for booking the equipment, act or entertainment with the “company”.
  2. The “Company” means Funtasia Entertainment Ltd.
  3. “Dry Hire“ is defined as equipment supplied by the company to the client without supervision.
  4. “Operator Hire” is defined as equipment/entertainment which is booked by the client with a representative from the company to operate / supervise the equipment or entertainment.


  1. Due to the nature of the business there are numerous variables to consider for each event such as, date & time, distance, duration, power source, multiple bookings and attire. Please contact us in order for us to provide you with a detailed quotation specifically tailored to your event.
  2. The quotation price includes delivery, set up and collection.
  3. Prices are subject to change without notification.
  4. Any variations by the client to the booking shall be made in writing.

Payment & Booking Fee

  1. A non-refundable £100.00 booking fee will be required as security. This must be received within 14 days of confirmation of booking.
  2. All payments are made in advance or on the day of the event, unless a 30 day credit account has been agreed.
  3. All late payments will incur an interest charge of 2% per month on the outstanding amount until cleared.


  1. Cancellations must be emailed or made in writing and will be subject to following charges:
  2. More than 28 days prior to the date of event will incur no further charges, other than the loss of the booking fee.
  3. Cancellations made 14 to 28 days prior to the date of the event will be charged at 50% of total booking value.
  4. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event will be charged at the full cost of the booking.


  1. All equipment remains the property of the company.
  2. All sizes quoted are approximate.
  3. The company reserve the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.
  4. The company reserves the right to supplement equipment of a similar type and value with regards to loss or damage of equipment prior to contractual booking.
  5. The company and its operators reserve the right to refuse admission to any person using our equipment on the grounds of safety. E.g. excessive alcohol or drug abuse.
  6. The company reserve the right to cease operation and remove hired equipment, if at any time a representative of the company feels that the guests or clients conduct endangers the safety of guests, clients, themselves or the safety of the equipment. In such case no refund will be given and the full cost of the booking will be due to the company.
  7. The company reserve the right to cease operation on the grounds of safety due to inclement weather. In such case no refund will be given and the full cost of the booking will be due to the company.

Power Supply

  1. All electrical equipment requires a 240-volt power supply within 50 metres of the site of the equipment.
  2. If this is not possible and generators are required, please contact us in advance to ensure that you are aware of the correct generator specifications. Alternatively, we can supply generators or petrol blowers at an additional cost. Please contact us for details.

Event Site, Access & Supply

  1. The Company reserves the right not to deliver if we deem the requested site to be unsuitable. Please ensure all areas are completely free from debris, especially sharp objects and pet waste.
  2. The client is responsible for checking adequate space for siting of equipment prior to booking.
  3. The client is responsible to inform at the time of booking if there are any access restrictions. Please bear in mind that some of the equipment is very large and will not fit through a standard doorway.
  4. The client is to give prior notification if the equipment is not going to be at ground floor level.


  1. Whilst every effort is made to ensure our timely arrival on site, in the event of uncontrollable circumstances our liability shall be limited to a maximum refund of any monies paid or a pro rata reduction in the hire fee, in the event of a delayed start. If agreed with the customer the finish will be extended to recover any lost time from the delayed start.
  2. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of loss of earnings or other costs being incurred.

Liability & Insurance

  1. The company has public liability insurance cover to the value of £5 million (copies of our policy are available on request). This cover is only available when the client books “operator hire” (Equipment booked with supervision).
  2. The company’s public liability cover is NOT extended to “dry Hire” equipment bookings (unless in the event of injury caused by unsafe or poorly installed equipment). It is recommended that you seek professional advice to ensure that adequate insurance cover is in place for dry Hire equipment bookings.
  3. The company accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property.
  4. The Client agrees to indemnify the company for any damage or theft of the company’s equipment whilst on hire.

Data Protection

  1. The data we gather from customers helps us continually improve the service you receive from the Company. We use the information to handle enquiries, deliver services, process payments, communicate with you about bookings, services and promotional offers, update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on our behalf.
